iPhone Duo

• Full support for iPhone Duo: When unfolded in landscape, you can use Freeboard across the entire screen or view Forecast and the overview screens side by side in split screen.
• On iPad, you can view Forecast and the overview screens side by side in Split View.
• Minor interface improvements, with better support for large text and increased contrast.

iCloud status and background updates

• See when Freeboard is syncing, an upload is pending, or a problem occurs on Overview and other main pages.
• When the system allows it, iPhone, and iPad can refresh in the background to fetch new data and retry pending uploads.
• The time of the last successful background update appears in Info & Diagnostics on iPhone and iPad, and on the Watch.
• Minor fixes to the cutoff calculation for multi-month payments.

Forecasts for your accounts

• The new Forecast shows how your account balances could develop through the end of the month. Compare up to four accounts in charts, adjust how your available amount is allocated, and spot potential shortfalls or exceeded credit limits early.
• Improved display of completed activities and bookings.
• New regional demo datasets: es-ES (Spain), pt-PT (Portugal), en-GB (United Kingdom), en-CA (Canada), and fr-CA (Canada).

Set a final payment date in plans and add credit cards

• Version 1.5 lets you set the final payment date for a recurring plan in advance.
• Preparing for account balance forecasts in Freeboard (coming soon): You can now add credit cards with full repayment (charge cards) or partial repayment (revolving cards). For revolving cards, monthly repayments are automatically created as pending bookings, with interest taken into account.
• Freeboard is now also available in Turkish.
• Minor improvements to the display of pending bookings.

Important: If you sync via iCloud, this update must be installed on all devices.

Transfers between Freeboard accounts

• Transfers between two Freeboard accounts can now be recorded as linked bookings.
• Freeboard now supports iPhone Duo.

Clearer Undo and Redo

• When undoing or redoing a change, you can now see exactly which action will be reversed or restored.
• On iPhone and iPad, Freeboard now returns to Overview and clears older Undo and Redo steps after a relaunch or a longer absence.
• On Mac, Freeboard now remembers whether the sidebar was shown or hidden and restores that layout the next time you open the app.
• Automatic page transitions now respect the Reduce Motion setting more reliably.

A clearer iPhone experience

Version 1.2 brings a clearer, easier-to-use Freeboard experience to iPhone.

• The new Home screen shows the most important figures at a glance.
• Use the Back button or a swipe gesture to move easily between sections.
• Newly created bookings and plans are automatically opened and highlighted in the relevant view.
• Further improvements to cards, balance updates, and large text round out this update.

Freeboard now supports weekly plans.
